Scan a Booking Out From the App

The phone could already scan gear back in. Now it can scan gear out. Open a booking in Shelf Companion and tap Scan to Check Out, then scan each asset or kit as you hand it over. The scanner only takes what is on the booking and still waiting to go out, and tells you why it refused anything else. The button stays on the booking until everything has gone out, so gear that leaves in stages can be scanned out in stages.

Picking items on a booking works like the web now. When you select items to check out, check in or remove, a kit has one tick box and is picked as a whole, so part of a kit can't be sent out or taken off by accident. The button says what it will act on, for example Check Out 1 Kit & 1 Asset.

Each asset on a booking also shows where it is kept, and a Search assets & kits box finds an item by its name, category, kit or location without scrolling.

Scan to Check Out and Select to Check Out appear for Administrators and Owners on any booking, and for Self-service members on their own bookings. This reached every phone on version 1.5.0 as an over-the-air update, with nothing to install from the store.
